History

How it came into existence?

It was a Sunday night after attending church service during November 2008, Mr Henley, a church member from Nationlight Tamil Church asked me to come to the front and sing songs during worship. I said, no I can't because I don't sing. Then he asked me another question: What do you know to do? I answered I know to develop softwares. Then he said, yes! we need people who can develop softwares. He gave an initial requirement for displaying Bible verses and songs during church service. At first I searched for the existing softwares but found none that supported Tamil. Hence I decided to begin the development for our church.

Jesus Chirst gave me the knowledge and interest to start the development work. Very quickly, the software matched the initial requirements provided by Mr. Henley and he gave suggestions and enhancement requriements every week and the software looked like a mature product. The software was dedicated and blessed by our Nationlight church Pastor Ravi  Lawrence. The software was uploaded to the internet and released as 'Tamil Church Software' for other Tamil churches to use it freely.

Tamil Church Software grew steadily with more and more enhancements everyday and the final version released was 2.3. Then Jesus Christ gave me the knowledge to use not just for Tamil language but for other languages too. I quickly modified the software to use other languages too so that other language churches can use the software and benefit from it freely. The software was renamed as Church Software because it supports not just Tamil but also other languages.

My wife Esther was very helpful and encouraging in the process of developing this software. This church software is currently used in many churches.
